Reese (the official dog of CJ Photography) / by Jason Rushing

Well alot has happened in 2016, and 1 week ago our family took in a Lhasa Apso from our local shelter named "Flower".  Let me catch you up,  my wife and I have been back and forth on a dog MANY times this year and never pulled the trigger.  While at work a couple weeks ago my wife tagged me in a photo of a Lhasa Apso that was available for adoption.  Flower was a 3 year old Lhasa that was left at the front gate and in some obvious advanced neglect.  Her fur was very long and so matted it looked as if she had glue in some of it.  She has a dry eye issue in one eye that was never taken care of and at this point has feasibly no sight out of it,  but with some TLC and inexpensive eye medication we might get some vision back,  but most likely never fully back.  On the bright side, she is not a shedder, and fully housebroken, also after 1 week we are confident enough to let her roam the house.  Very quiet, only has barked a handful of times,  and really just sleeps ALOT.  In all we found probably the closest to best possible case for an inside dog.  So now Flower is known by her adopted name Reese.  Why? I loved Reese cups!  I thought of 2 names, Reese and Nikon.......does anyone need any explanations?  So welcome everyone to the official dog of CJ Photography, Reese.
